  3. 1. How many times per week do you post? Now that I deactivated my Facebook account, I have more time to blog, so almost every day.

    2. How many blogs do you follow? Too many to count.

    3. Do you read all the blogs you follow? I’ll read the intro that comes up in my WordPress feed. If it seems interesting, I’ll read the blog. (If I gave a “like” it means I really did read and I enjoyed the content. I don’t just give random “likes” for followers).

    4. Do you seek out new blogs to follow? Yes.

    5. Do you comment on the blogs you read? Most of the time.

    6. What content inspires you to follow a blogger? Anything. I’m a curious person.

    7. Do you add a photo to your post? Yes, always.

    1. How many times per week do you post? 4 to 5 times, sometimes more.

    2. How many blogs do you follow? Last time I checked it was about 300

    3. Do you read all the blogs you follow? I scroll my reader feed almost daily and read most of them.

    4. Do you seek out new blogs to follow? It depends. I often check the suggestions to see if there might be one or two I want to follow.

    5. Do you comment on the blogs you read? Not all the time, but there are certainly ones that I always comment on.

    6. What content inspires you to follow a blogger? Content. Things we have in common (music, movies, etc)

    7. Do you add a photo to your post? I almost always do.

    8. Leave me a link for one blogger (other than yourself) that you think I should check out.

    Many of the blogs I follow are music related. Two of them are: https://powerpop.blog/ and https://soundday.wordpress.com/

  6. Thanks for these fun questions, they helped me think more about the bigger blogging picture, rather than just my little corner of it!

    1. How many times per week do you post? I rarely post weekly, every few weeks is more common for me.

    2. How many blogs do you follow? I follow blogs if they are a subject I’m interested in, or if I have had interesting discussions with the blogger.

    3. Do you read all the blogs you follow? I read “most” of the blogs I follow, but often it will be a bit of binge reading every few weeks, not right when the posts go up.

    4. Do you seek out new blogs to follow? Yes, I regularly search in Reader for new blogs on subjects I’m interested in.

    5. Do you comment on the blogs you read? I will often comment, especially if the content was particularly interesting, or sparked an idea for me.

    6. What content inspires you to follow a blogger? I recently left my full-time job, moved to a new country, and am currently on a sabbatical of sorts, so for the last year I have sought out blogs on topics related to those types of life changes. I also have started writing a book, so I have been looking for more blogs related to that, and of course, blogs on blogging.

    7. Do you add a photo to your post? Always. I use my own photos, it’s a way I can join my two hobbies, photography and writing, together into one expression.

    8. Leave me a link for one blogger (other than yourself) that you think I should check out. I only recently discovered https://nailyournovel.wordpress.com/ and I love it. The latest post is about the process and all the considerations when the author was recording an audio version of her book. So much goes into that, I had no idea!

  7. I wrote a post answering similar questions recently so I’ll just answer here.
    1. How many times per week do you post?
    On my doll blog at least once a week. On my other blog it might be 3-5 times depending on what challenge posts I am doing.

    2. How many blogs do you follow?
    I honestly couldn’t say. Quite a few.

    3. Do you read all the blogs you follow?
    I don’t read all the blogs I follow every day but try to visit them all regularly.

    4. Do you seek out new blogs to follow?
    No, I follow a lot already but I will add one if I stumble on a really interesting one.

    5. Do you comment on the blogs you read?
    Yes, most of them. If I don’t comment I leave a like as a way to show I read it. If I read it and didn’t like it I don’t comment.

    6. What content inspires you to follow a blogger?
    If they seem like someone I have something in common with. If their blog is well written with interesting content and especially if they make me laugh.

    7. Do you add a photo to your post?
    Always.

  8. Here goes nothing:

    1. I have averaged about 320 posts per year in the nearly 5 1/2 years of writing my current blog.

    2. I follow only 12 to 15 other blogs.

    3. I consistently read only about half the blogs I follow.

    4. Sort of, but my attention span has really waned with age. (Re: seeking out new blogs)

    5. I seldom comment and acknowledge some hypocrisy in that I often implore my readers to submit thoughtful comments.

    6. It’s all about the content.

    7. I almost always add at least one photo to each post. I think that gives them much more visual appeal.

    Back up to 7 posts a week on 2 blogs.

    2. How many blogs do you follow?

    I have no idea. I read all sorts of stuff. It’s more than 20.

    3. Do you read all the blogs you follow?

    Not all the time. Some posts leap out more than others depending on mood, presentation, etc.

    4. Do you seek out new blogs to follow?

    I do.

    5. Do you comment on the blogs you read?

    I plead the 5th. “Well, sir, you appear to be commenting”. “uhhhhh”

    6. What content inspires you to follow a blogger?

    9 times out of 10, I find something worthy of remembering, and it may not even be what the particular entry or blog is about. Perspectives are awesome that way, and a well communicated perspective – even one I disagree with, especially the ones I disagree with – are priceless.

    7. Do you add a photo to your post?

    I do. I used to use camera images and the limited free stuff on the web, but now I often use AI generated images, which has also (oddly) upped my image editing abilities.
