Your Retirement Left a Hole In My Heart

Did you experience missing someone?

Me, I do! When I saw these farewell photos of my beloved friend and subordinate who just retired from work last December 2022, I can’t hold on my tears rolling down my cheeks.

Time was so fast! Bidding farewell to her that time was really hard. It was one of those emotional moments where I have to bid adieu to my favorite person who is so pure inside and outside for we have been working together since 1990.

For 32 years we hadn’t quarelled nor hurt each other. We both treasured our friendship through thick and thin. We had so much fun. Not to mention the times when we both went home together from school during rainy season crossing the river banks and got wet. There were countless times that we stumble and fall to the ground passing the slippery trails in going home.

During fine weather we enjoy picking and eating guavas along the way until we reached home. She had been a great friend at work! That was not a goodbye but a farewell for her. Thanking her and wishing her all the best was all I can do. Till I meet her again.

    Success Versus Failure

I came across this quote posted by Michelle Cohen Corasanti and it made me realize how essential it is to rise every time you fall. I believed that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% on how you react to it.

Don’t get discouraged every time you fall but rise and make a difference because there is always rainbow after the rain. There is always a solution to every problem as well as success after every failure. Failure is the key to success; each mistake teaches us something.

    Thank You 13C Chair Foundation

It is indeed my honor and privilege to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the 13 C Chairs Foundation personalities for choosing Bartolome and Manuela Panares Memorial National High School in Barili Cebu, a recipient of these 210 sets of armchairs to our 210 end users who are, our very own students.

Words may not be enough to express how grateful we are especially the students who are the recipient of these chairs.

Since the start of the face to face classes our chairs were no longer enough for our 3k plus students and that’s the reason why not all our students were lucky enough to sit in a comfortable armchair inside the classroom. Many of them brought their own chair in order not to squat.

Through your chairs donation we have been able to realize our dream to let our students sit in a comfortable chair in order to learn more. You made a difference in the lives of our students and we are extremely grateful for that. Your generosity is what gave these young learners the resources and support they need.

We promised to take good care of these 210 armchairs and not to dis arm them. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.

    Thanking Donors Mean A Lot

Thanking donors is the foundation of good donor stewardship. It fosters a sense of loyalty that inspires bigger and more frequent generosity.

Pairing the “thank you” with explanations on the impact the donor’s gift had is so worthwhile. Using simple and clear language to share with donors how their donation made a difference in the lives of the beneficiaries is also very essential.

Besides good manners, when done properly, thanking donors can encourage future donations and the donor’s continued involvement.

Life is a Matter of Choices …

What is life? Definition says it is from birth to death. In between B (birth) and D (death) is a C. It’s a choice. Life is a matter of choices. Life is what we make it, so make the most of it!

Life is everything. Sometimes happy, other times rough. But with every up and down you learn lessons that make you strong. Life isn’t meant to be easy but it’s meant to be lived. Life is worth living. So live life to its fullest!

Eid’l Fitr AKA Feast of Ramadan is a Regular Holiday

The Malacanang Palace in the Republic of the Philippines declared Friday, April 21, 2023 a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Fitr also popularly known as Feast of Ramadan through a Proclamation No 201.

The Philippine Government felt the need for its declaration in order to bring the religious and cultural significance of Eid ‘l Fitr to the fore of national consciousness and to allow the entire Filipino nation to join their Muslim brothers and sisters in peace and harmony in the observance and celebration of Eid’l Fitr.

    A Thought To Ponder

I love this thought. It ignites positivity in me. Being around with people who values my existence is all that matters. They are the people who motivates me when things aren’t well. They made me confident to face the battle.

How about you? Do you like this quote? What can you say about this?

    Words of Appreciation and Gratitude

This is my lovely gesture of expressing my appreciation as well as gratitude for the support to my administration and leadership in Bartolome and Manuela Panares Memorial National High School. Thank you so much for all the thoughtful words and amazing messages you have given me on my birthday. I’m so blessed to have such a wonderful group of people in the workplace. You really made my day great!

Celebrating birthdays in the workplace is an excellent way to recognize and appreciate my colleagues. It not only fosters camaraderie and team spirit but it also strengthens relationships and promotes a positive work environment. When my coworkers take the time to wish me a happy birthday, it’s important to show my gratitude and appreciation for their kindness. I’m so Happy day indeed!

Your kind words and thoughtful birthday wishes really touched my heart. Thank you everyone for making me feel appreciated and loved! It’s not often that you get to work with such a fantastic group of people. I feel incredibly lucky to have received so many birthday wishes from all of you. You all are the best!

Birthdate! A Day to Look Forward …

Today marks another significant day in my life. Another 365-day journey around the sun. Approximately 20 million plus other celebrants here on planet Earth will be joyous and lucky enough to celebrate.

I’m aging!!!!! Do I need to celebrate? Of course, YES! Why? It’s because of the countless blessings from above especially my good health. 59 years old is not a milestone birthday to celebrate but it is my time to be merry and be grateful. “I’m really overwhelmed that I’m still alive for another fruitful year in my life.”

Thank you Lord for everything! Happy birthday to me …
